What about the other supplies?A: At The Proper Pour Co., we operate as a dry hire service, meaning we cannot sell alcohol directly to our clients due to Illinois state regulations. However, this works in your favor, as it can lead to substantial savings by allowing you to purchase alcohol independently. While we can't supply the alcohol, we have everything else covered to ensure your event runs smoothly. Our comprehensive mobile bar service includes professional bartenders, disposable drinkware, mixers, garnishes, and all the necessary bar tools and equipment. This allows you to enjoy a seamless bar experience without worrying about the logistical details. We will have an in-depth menu meeting to help us determine the quantity of each item you need to purchase for your event. If you need recommendations for purchasing alcohol or have any other questions, we're here to help!

Q: Are your bartenders BASSET Certified and do you carry insurance for your services?A: Yes, at The Proper Pour Co., each of our bartenders holds BASSET certification, ensuring they are trained to serve alcohol responsibly and handle any situation that may arise during your event. Additionally, we are fully insured, with both general liability insurance and liquor liability coverage. If needed, we can provide copies of our insurance for your peace of mind. We do, however, request that all clients provide proof of host liquor liability as well. This comprehensive approach ensures that both our team and your event are adequately protected.

Q: What is needed to set up The Proper Pour Co.'s mobile bar service at an event location?A: To set up The Proper Pour Co.'s mobile bar service, a few specific requirements need to be met. For Trailer Swift, our mobile bar trailer, we need a flat ground surface that provides adequate access for us to back up and pull out the trailer comfortably. For our Satellite bar, the setup is quite straightforward—just inform us where you would like it to be placed, and our team will handle the rest. Additionally, the mobile bar does require access to a 110V power hookup. If there's no power access on-site, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements. This ensures that everything runs smoothly and your event gets the top-notch service it deserves from Southern Illinois' premier mobile bar service.

Q: Are you only able to do outdoor events?A: No! With the right venue, our trailer is able to be wheeled indoors! We also have a satellite stand-alone bar that can be brought into any indoor location.

Q: Do you have a rain plan for outdoor service?A: In case of rain, we require overhead coverage. We'll collaborate with you to develop a contingency plan for inclement weather.

Q: Do you travel?A: Certainly. Complimentary travel is provided within a 30-mile radius from our base in Du Quoin, IL. For destinations beyond this range, travel fees apply, covering mileage and potential accommodations depending on the event's distance.

Q: I'm a venue owner. Will The Proper Pour Co. leave the area in a mess?A: No, we will always leave the designated area tidy like we found it. We are not responsible for messes made outside of the bar area.

Q: Do you offer custom packages?A: Certainly! Our package collection is designed for larger-scale events, catering to the average needs of the masses. However, upon request, we can tailor a custom package to perfectly suit your specific needs.

Q: Not all of our guests drink, do I have to include every adult in the headcount?A: We acknowledge that not every adult attendee at your event may choose to consume alcoholic beverages. We will discuss with you what number makes the most sense based on your event and projected total headcount.

Q: What do your bartenders wear?A: Expect our bartenders to always look sharp and professional. They'll be dressed in clean, attire from head to toe, ensuring a polished and uniform appearance throughout your event. Our commitment to excellence extends to every detail, including the presentation of our team.

Q: What does The Proper Pour Co. require to book?A: To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit, determined by your estimated adult (21+) headcount, and service package. The retainer is non-refundable, as it reflects our commitment to reserving your date and involves turning away other inquiries for the same time frame.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?A: We can accommodate any form of payment. We have a digital payment system located on our website you may utilize to pay your invoice. We do charge a 3.5% convenience surcharge for all electronic-based payments. This includes PayPal, Venmo, and Credit Card. If you would like to pay by check or cash, we are happy to remove that surcharge from your final invoice.

Q: Will you put out a tip jar?A: This is ultimately up to you. We will display a tip jar unless you choose to add additional staff gratuity, and then we will skip the tip jar.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?A: You may cancel your booking within the first 48 hours and receive a full refund on the retainer. After this period, no refunds will be issued. In the event of a postponement, you have the option to apply the retainer to another event within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability. A subcontract will be generated to document the date change.
